The export dialog gives you the opportunity to scale the model (so 0.001). - Import this new file in blender (where...

Re: Mechanical Blender
Hi Yorik and all ! your secret plan sounds great ! Anything that can help interaction between FreeCAD and blender will be a huge pain saver for product and arch visualisation. Was discussing with an arch friend about workflow, she was telling me that sketchup+Vray is great for short timed project an...

Re: Two figures in Sketch -> Pad/Pocket does not work
Hi Bejan, thanks for your insight, i'm very new to FreeCad so I surely miss a lot of use cases, features and background ! If the result is random, Victor, the result isn't random. I might have misinterpreted this quote : The lack of warning/error message led me to believe that it should be possible ...

Re: Two figures in Sketch -> Pad/Pocket does not work
It's mentioned in the intro of the PartDesign Workbench documentation: Thanks for your help Normand it is very clear, sorry for missing that ! at least an error message or preventing the operation when trying to pad such "not allowed" sketch could help a few users. Agreed, a warning absol...

Re: Two figures in Sketch -> Pad/Pocket does not work
Hi Ickby and all, hope it's ok to push this thread up, i encountered this "padding two figures in one sketch" situation today and was happy to find a thread on the topic ! There is a fix in latest maste for this. But note that PartDesign still only creates a single solid, this means if you...

Re: Build 0.17 on Debian Testing (Stretch)
Hi, thanks a lot mlampert, I managed to compile 0.17 with the infos you shared. This is the gist of a successful out-of-source build on my system (Debian Testing "Stretch" @ 2016/12/02) : # Get the source code $ git clone https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD.git freecad-code $ mkdir freecad-...
