Re: Can You Make a Surfboard Shape With Freecad

Like this but filled in and cockpit shaved off.

Everything smoothed over.

Wheel wells filled.

Just the simple shape of what it could be like.NOT made to take a mold off of for a car.

A concept shape.A theme.

Re: Sectioning A Sphere And Extruding Between Sections

That's correct .Thank you!

Since we're communicating.

How do I 'flatten' a sphere and extrude between the two halves?

Cut it in half after it's flattened and fill in between halves please?

Flatten a sphere say 1:2 ratio. Half as tall as it is deep or wide.

Re: Sectioning A Sphere And Extruding Between Sections

Like a flat tablet. Rectangular with full radius along edges and those become 1/4 spheres at the corners. Is it better to start with rectangle and add radiuses or make 1/4 spheres and fill in between them? Would have to place 1/4 spheres equally apart at four corners first and extrude and fill betwe...

Sectioning A Sphere And Extruding Between Sections

Basically want to make a tablet shape with 1/4 sphere's at all four corners.

Is it better to start with a rectangular box or start with 4 sphere sections and

fill in or extrude between them?

Re: Open Saved Parts Design File Not Working

Sgrogan

Thank you for info!

I will practice that.

It seems their hierarchy of parameters building this are a little out of order.

SEEING YOUR DRAWING when you open saved file is pretty important to people with common sense.

Have a nice day!
