Re: Demonstrating coding abilities

If I do reinforcement for a column foundation I would use more rebars right under the column. How would I input such rebars with your task panel?

Re: VTK Data At Point Implementation

The color point is so small, the point can not be found somehow. Do I miss something. How can the colored point I have selected to get results from made visible for my poor eyes ?! The aim for DataAtPoint is not to display color point, reason why color point displays is that i used one and the same...

Re: FEM Workbench: FreeCAD hangs after clicking on "Run Calculic" button

Actually noone from the regular FEM users uses FreeCAD FEM with 0.16 release. As said before for FEM ...

Re: FEM Workbench: FreeCAD hangs after clicking on "Run Calculic" button

This could have various reasons ... You use the stable version of FreeCAD ... Version: 0.16.6706 (Git) FEM has seen hundreds of updates and fixes and prechecks in version 0.17 Thus it is highly recommended to use the latest development version 0.17.xxxxx if you really would like to work with FEM in ...

Re: ccxInputWriter vs. Faces

I'm surprised ccx gives some results ?!? At least FreeCAD writes something into the Pressure constraint. And Calculix does not use the wrong references to the face numbers of the shell elements in case of shells, so it has no reason to complain. From my point of view ccx should at least give a warn...

Re: ccxInputWriter vs. Faces

gave the pressure on shell meshes a try. https://github.com/berndhahnebach/FreeCAD_bhb/commit/2e3d318d6ab6237d68bf6dee9e1f458d4caf9c78?diff=split works for meshes with appropriate group data only (use gmsh mesh object and mesh inside an analysis) BUT: I'm facing problems. How do I get the informatio...

Re: ccxInputWriter vs. Faces

thanks for reporting! I'm not surprised this does not work. I have never explicit tested this kind of load during shell implementations. But for sure this should work. If you make a bug report you could assign it to me! Just had a look at this. The pressure constraint has never been working on shel...
