Does it not more sense to move ALLOWED_PYTHON_PACKAGES.txt to the addons list repo, https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD-addons?
P.S. As an aside benefit, the FreeCAD repo will be less cluttered by merge request related with missing Python packages

Sure, I already did that! Not working...

Are the custom repos working?
Probably my bad, but I tried everything... The Addon manager wont load the XRays modules. I tried: - Adding the gitlab repo URI: https://gitlab.com/sanguinariojoe/freecad.xray - Adding the gitlab repo: https://gitlab.com/sanguinariojoe/freecad.xray.git - Adding the both of them with the branch (main...

Re: X-Rays!
The repo is up!
https://gitlab.com/sanguinariojoe/freecad.xray
It is very little tested, so be ready for errors. Of course, reports of issues are absolutely welcome!

Re: X-Rays!
I am interested in the analysis and correction of metal artifacts in CTs. But many other applications can be considered, like airports scanners simulations (for security purposes)

X-Rays!
I just announced in twitter that I am implementing a X-Rays simulator. https://twitter.com/jlcercos/status/1462403371537739777 https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FEt_mYyXEA06NCP?format=jpg&name=900x900 Under the hood, it is "hacking" LuxCoreRender. It is not ready for production yet, but hope...

Re: FreeCAD Ship Workbench Official Thread
Hey!
To be honest, I know very little about submergibles design process, so I am afraid I cannot provide tools even if I want to

What to do with Plot
I really though Plot was not used anymore in the core, but I was totally wrong (see https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/pull/4890#issuecomment-868694008). Thus, removing Plot is not the solution. There are at least 2 options: We keep just the Plot module here (i.e. freecad.plot.Plot), and get the wor...

Re: Plot and Ship
Done, the correct PRs are submitted to https://github.com/FreeCAD/freecad.ship and https://github.com/FreeCAD/freecad.plot. Now the PR to the main source tree is actually removing those modules

Re: Plot and Ship
Some years ago someone already asked that, and I already voted to move them out. But I came back and saw them inside the main source code tree, so I was thinking they finally decided to keep them. @luzpaz added a note in the PR heading me to the right place. I am thus fixing the modules there, and e...
