Re: Usar aristas vinculadas dentro del Sketch (V 0.17)

No es posible utilizar la geometría proyectada directamente.

Para algún caso particular podría interesarle Carbon Copy:

Re: PD NEXT: Mapping change and support

Ok. Before doing a exception extension proposal, I am going to PR what I have done to solve the problem that the user does not get informed of the wrong support and some clean up: 1. I have gone down all the Base:Exceptions that are thrown as a consequence of not being able to determine the position...

Re: FreeCAD in a very old machine

Out of curiosity, how is this controlled? Compiler optimization flags? I am going to cry out of joy... it works!! I am running FreeCAD v.17 in a 15+ old computer running lubuntu 17.04 and I must say it does not lag!! :D If anybody needs to run FC in a pre K8 AMD processor without SSE2, just install...

Re: FreeCAD in a very old machine

I have debug my run, and apparently one of the dependencies, xerces-c, is compiled with sse2 support by default in that version of lubuntu. I am building it from source to disable sse2 now... Out of curiosity, how is this controlled? Compiler optimization flags? for this case, there is a --disable-...

Re: FreeCAD in a very old machine

Hi Abdullah, I do not know the answer but I think it is also important to tell what your installed OS is Hi! Yes, definitely. I can install in the computer whatever linux distribution. The priority is that it runs FC. Currently it is running Lubuntu 17.04. I have debug my run, and apparently one of...

FreeCAD in a very old machine

Does anybody know if FreeCAD v.17 can run in a AMD K7 (without SSE2) from early 2000?

I installed freecad-daily and I get illegal instruction...

Re: PD NEXT: Mapping change and support

Unfortunately, catching OCC exceptions will make freecad App depend on OCC. Currently it doesn't, all OCC stuff is delegated to Part module. As far as I understand, FreeCAD can be built without OCC if Path and all dependent modules are disabled. PS. And stupid C++ exception handling doesn't offer a...

Re: PD NEXT: Mapping change and support

I would welcome more user input. What does a user want here? I like the exclamation mark. The more verbose/specific error thrown to report view the better. As a user I'm not sure what is a bug or user error w/0.17. I would also like to standardize the exception error messages, so that it is possibl...

Re: PD NEXT: Mapping change and support

I think you should catch all OCC exceptions and re-throw them as Base::RuntimeError, then. (wmayer seems to usually recommend against throwing base::exception, and to pick a more specific type) Well, at first I was trying to make the lowest amount of changes, as I am not familiar with PD NEXT and I...

Re: PD NEXT: Mapping change and support

More to it. DeepSOIC was right that there was code for raising an error, that exception catching that I commented out, will make it propagate the error. So at the end the question is whether we can just comment out that exception catching: https://github.com/abdullahtahiriyo/FreeCAD_sf_master/commit...
