Re: 3D Printer Parts
Look at you guys pretending to take a moral high ground. Self appointed judges of a fantasy meritocracy. You've proved absolutely everything I've said is true. Absolutely everything. I've been creating the highest quality content for teaching FreeCAD, the highest quality. And for free. You hide behi...

Re: 3D Printer Parts
It is related to the 3D Printer and it is a tutorial for FreeCAD. If you want to continue down the delusional path of pretending FreeCAD is actually open software developed by a free community and pretending that the FreeCAD project is not political thus assuming that anarchy works, fine. I will not...

Re: Struggling beginer
@quick61 That's pretty cool. I didn't know we could make simple copies. I always thought the only 2 ways to 'copy' something was either by creating a duplicate or clone. After reading that, I downloaded the model to see what you were talking about actually expecting to see a clone or a duplicate wit...

Re: Struggling beginer
It looks like ppemawm gets to take home the trophy. Not only did he seem to understand exactly what was trying to be done, but he gave an excellent description on what to do. Well done!

Re: Struggling beginer
Is this what you're trying to accomplish? CPU fan shroud.png The reason that happened is because of the way you modeled it. You had sketches mapped to faces. But instead of following through the dependencies and trying to separate the sketches, I simply created a clone of each part and aligned them ...

Re: 3D Printer Parts
clintonsam75, you might want to consider using a newer (0.16) version of FreeCAD for your tutorials. Sketcher has changed significantly since 0.15 was released, and when 0.16 becomes generally available your tutorials in 0.15 might be obsolete. I haven't watched all of video 3 but, for me, when cre...

Re: 3D Printer Parts
You're welcome. P.S. It's not about me liking or not liking "meme images" it just looks like on the one hand you are putting effort in it to create some quality content and after diminish that with using low-grade "meme images". Well, I disagree. I like the images. I believe the...
