Re: Test request: App.ActiveContainer

I did a few tests and i like the fact more general and FreeCAD wide approach is used. Some thoughts i had when testing. ⋅ When a feature is added developer needs to decide what kind of a feature it is. Therefore it doesn't make much sense to add Drawing Page or a Spreadsheet to such contai...

Re: Porting to python3

@triplus: please see my PM As the question there was a general one i decided to answer it here. If you are interested in investing the time to make "reference builds" available sure go ahead. As for setting up your development environment on Linux. For Qt 4 builds on Ubuntu only a few lin...

Re: Spreadsheet -> Drawing, maximum rows

Re: FreeCAD crashes while doing Exploded Assembly

I did the test on Ubuntu 16.04 by using FreeCAD from stable PPA. I do get a few of this in report view when opening the file: <unknown exception traceback><type 'exceptions.ImportError'>: No module named importPart <unknown exception traceback><type 'exceptions.ImportError'>: No module named assembl...

Re: Porting to python3

Hi @CADennis. Web hosting we use doesn't offer us much in this regard. And there is the problem of capable system administrators being involved that would take care of building and maintaining the infrastructure. And if all that would get done the way i understand it what is actually needed ATM is m...

Re: Bugtracker recent changes

OK therefore critical security issue was fixed (as we use 2.3.1). Attacker shouldn't be able to reset passwords remotely any more. As administrators don't have access to other user/administrator passwords? Then i guess we need to assume attacker has password of one of the administrator accounts as J...

Re: First test drive ...

Note that on Ubuntu 17.04 i have 2 dev builds. One is against Qt 4 and one against Qt 5. And the Qt 5 build has the behaviour when the pop-up stays persistent. Qt 4 build doesn't have such behaviour and everything works as expected.
