Re: Porting to python3

good stuff I can give a more fleshed out answer later, but for now: - freecadweb is on shared hosting, i.e. not a fully-controlled server - we recently got some servers to expand infrastructure and part of this includes a plan to use buildbot_travis (a Travis compatibility shim for our current CI t...

Re: Bugtracker recent changes

Is it possible to update the mantis minor version? Yes, I manually applied the bugfix that makes up the 5.3.1 change, so the 5.3.0 tag is just cosmetic--I'll do the actual upgrade shortly. Also as triplus mentioned is there a way to prompt all users to reset their passwords? Well, for one, the vuln...

Re: Bugtracker recent changes

The backup I grabbed today of the tracker is live in my staging environment and can be browsed (for the time being) if anyone wants to see stuff in the 3/29-4/25 window: https://freecad.io/tracker/my_view_page.php so what is the best way to go about fixing this? I've gone in and manually changed/re...

Re: Improving documentation of python API

BTW, the docs at freecadweb.org/api are a "lite" version because of the size of the docs with all dependency graphs, etc.. The "full"/"pretty" docs can be viewed here although they are due for a rebuild: https://docs.freecad.io Here's an example of the same page you lin...

Re: Bugtracker recent changes

The tracker is up again. I restored from the last backup, done 3/29. I took another backup before restoring so that there'd be a snapshot of the issues added since, but because the event happened on Apr 17 there's possibly some stuff that was never backed up between 3/30 and 4/17. Two weeks from now...

Re: Accessing Freecad through Python CGI Script

You need to use the lib path, not the path to the FreeCAD binary. The correct folder will have FreeCAD.so in it.

Re: Accessing Freecad through Python CGI Script

You can start with something like this:

Code: Select all

import sys

FCLIBPATH = '/usr/lib/freecad-daily/lib'
sys.path.append(FCLIBPATH)

import FreeCAD
