Re: PATH No attributes in tools and cannot add any

A bit more information: The AppImage is running on my desktop machine. That's where I'm having issues with missing attributes, etc. Last night I tested two other installations on my notebook. 1 - An older Snap package from late last year(2021). 2 - A newer Flatpak package installed fresh yesterday. ...

PATH No attributes in tools and cannot add any

Not sure if this is a bug or I'm missing something in the configuration. I've just started looking at the Path workbench so don't have any old tools laying around. Running the latest 0.19 AppImage freshly downloaded. OS: Pop!_OS 20.04 LTS (X-Cinnamon/cinnamon) Word size of OS: 64-bit Word size of Fr...

My Daily build appears to be stuck

HI, I wondered if anyone else has the same issue. I found an old thread about the FreeCad Daily build getting stuck but that was from last year. For the last few weeks the daily build hasn't been updating on my desktop and is still at March 12, 2019. Looking at launchpad I see some daily builds that...

Mesh Workbench Netgen option with latest .17 daily build

With the last couple of v.17 daily updates the Netgen meshing option is greyed out in the Mesh Design workbench Create mesh from shape option. I'm checking to see if anyone else has seen this or if it is some issue on my specific installation. The Standard option appears to work well enough so it is...

Re: Some questions related to Path with the latest daily build

HI, In my case it wasn't so much having post processors with the same name. For example I had created a new post processor named grbl_post.py. While I was working with it I had it in a directory tree under my projects/freecad... path so that I didn't have to sudo to write to the file (although I fix...

Re: Some questions related to Path with the latest daily build

Understood.

I figured that the post processor was being cached, but it was interesting that it seems to ignore the full path the the post processor if you browse to it or enter it.

Thanks,
Burt

Re: How do I export a DXF of a model?

I agree. It caused me some confusion since that ".dxf" option was directly in my line of eyesight.

It really should complain if you are trying to export a .dxf from anything but the Draw Workbench for sure.

I can put together a the bug report(s) tomorrow when I'm fresher.

Thanks,
Burt
