Re: Render qwidgets on 3d scene

Yes, this never goes into official. my thought was to add this to freecad as 3rd party lib. The thing with quarter is that it doe not support many things freecad currently uses in SoQtViewer. but I can have a better look. Good work ickby. It's nice to see you've exploring and experimenting with all...

Re: FreeCAD on the web

Although not on the web, recently I've seen in two academic books related to 3D Printing now having a brief mention of FreeCAD although for some reason it spent one chapter talking about using OpenScad.

Re: Render qwidgets on 3d scene

This would be a great feature in terms of usability, but I would be cautious. I know it may be a while before we migrate to Qt5, but there are various options presented and if for example we wanted to go with QML, GL context sharing may become difficult unless a framebuffer is used which I don't thi...

Re: Testing the Drawing Module

this week I've been playing around compiling on windows (another project unrelated to FreeCAD), although I use Visual Studio 2012 (VC11). It's interesting in the number of difficulties compiling for Windows - especially integrating other libraries, so I even had to make my own libpack and learn how ...

Re: Testing the Drawing Module

When the drawing template is first shown it is not full window but is considerably smaller with blank black around it, perhaps an auto zoom fit would be a good idea? Fixed. Also fixed an annoying issue with the drawing view starting automatically. Not sure about the other issue. ---- When people wa...

Re: Testing the Drawing Module

Hi Luke Okay everyone, I've push a lot of changes through that I've worked on the past week. Lots of improvements, but I have some new bugs now :) distance, horizontal and vertical all don't display the arrows and lines in the correct place, diameter seems to work properly but radius does not. Radi...

Re: Testing the Drawing Module

Okay everyone, I've push a lot of changes through that I've worked on the past week. I will write up a blog article today to highlight the changes. Hi Luke Page size and line thickness on exported svg. The A3 and A4 templates, if opened in Inkscape are correct A3 and A4 sizes (210mm x 297mm for A4) ...

Re: Testing the Drawing Module

Here's an idea: would it be possible NOT to display the vertices by default, but make them visible and a lot bigger (at least two times what they look like right now) only for preselection and selection? Like this. Preselected color is red, selected is green. If people are happy with this I can cha...

Re: Any nearer to FreeCAD 0.14 going GA.

Yorik did maybe a month ago or more, might be better to update again? Yes, better to do it again... I'll take care of this in the next days. I'll also take care of the splash screen. I think someone (psicofil?) did a pretty cool one a couple of days/weeks ago, we could use it, no? About the bugs on...
