Re: FEM Workbench aligned to guidelines
I thought the icons of the light back ground where different from the icons on the dark back ground, but on the repo is one file only. But they are equal, there is just one icon Ah, yes, I understand now. Yeah, there's only one of each icon with no background, I just generate a preview of it for th...

Re: FEM Workbench aligned to guidelines
One of the goals of the Artwork page is to publish the icons for re-use, a spritesheet would defeat that purpose. I don't really see the use of providing spritesheets as well as individual icons... I would tend to agree - while it's labour intensive to update the individual icons, it's not really a...

Re: FEM Workbench aligned to guidelines
Are all these different icons for one icon save in one svg ? Do you update https://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/Artwork with your new created icons? BTW: We should make the spritesheets available at this artwork page somehow ?! I don't really understand your first question - Each icon is its own svg if ...

Re: Assembly Workbench icons aligned to guidelines
Thanks for the heads up, my build was complaining of a missing icon - I had edited InitGui.py but had missed the CMakeLists.txt.triplus wrote:You'll need to edit InitGui.py and CMakeLists.txt file.
I should be able to post something in the next hour or so.

Re: Assembly Workbench icons aligned to guidelines
I don't know why i left out Assembly workbench when i did the conversion from XPM to SVG workbench icons. Likely one of the following reasons: It's disabled by default and not usable. It wasn't in compilable state and i couldn't easily test the changes. Or both. P.S. If there is desire i can still ...

Re: Assembly Workbench icons aligned to guidelines
Thanks, I imagine that's just during dev, a main icon will eventually be required (to show up in settings etc.), no?DeepSOIC wrote:It is hard-coded into InitGui.py as XPM string.

Assembly Workbench icons aligned to guidelines
Last real workbench, just the core icons left! Old on left, new on right, on light, mid-grey and dark backgrounds at 16, 24, 32 and 64px respectively. Question : anyone know where the main workbench icon for assembly is? I can't find it in the usual Gui/Resources/icons spritesheet_main.png spriteshe...

Re: FEM Workbench aligned to guidelines
How do you make these spritesheets? I use a bash script with inkscape and imagemagick. Inkscape exports everything to png and imagemagick (montage) stitches them into a spritesheet. I had to change the script a little to export pngs when present, as was the case for FEM. EDIT: Here is the bash scri...
