There is no big problem technically in adding the drawing_dimensioning stuff to Drawing. It's more a matter of organizing files well in a neat separate folder, like the PartDesign wizards for example, or PathScripts.
Okay then I'm creating a ticket: issue #2629 I'm assigning this to myself, but if someone wants to work on this just tell me.
Merging drawing_dimensioning into v0.17, help wanted
Re: Merging drawing_dimensioning into v0.17, help wanted
Great.
I am not sure but there could be an issue of current Drawing WB having issues with PartDesign NEXT? Anyway this is out of scope from this thread point of view. And i guess we could use the same approach with Assembly 2. Use it in FreeCAD by default. Once C++ one is ready provide both for release or two and after i guess when feature parity is meet start thinking about providing just one module for one area again.
