Fixed. Are you still able to break it? https://github.com/berndhahnebach/FreeC ... athonlinux
Another improvement. Added some nice popups.

I'm still able to break it. See https://github.com/berndhahnebach/FreeC ... cx.py#L152 But I do not know how to catch this.

I think pushing whatever improvement you have will be better than what we have in the master right now.We might polish it later.

Hello gals and guys

I just found this thread when realizing that I need something like this in my FEM analysis, or something similar; I need that the element in analysis do not penetrate itself, so my questions are: 1) It is possible to do it with 1 element, similar as the one shown in the 1st message but with 2 elements? Where is this option in the FEM workbench or it is an add-on? Or it is a plan and will be added in future FreeCAD versions?

Thank you in advance

@JV_3D:
It is recommended to use FreeCAD 0.17.xxxxx if you consider to work with FreeCADS FEM workbench. There have been hundreds of improvements and bugfixes in FEM.

@Bernd Thanks missed that yes 0.16 is far behind 0.17
Any indication when 0.17 will be released ?

No, not in the near future. There are still a lot of issues. The three big ones (Qt5, Py3, PDN) have still a lot of issues (PDN) or are not even fully merged into master (Py3)
