Just FYI, there will be a feature freeze in master at the end of January, then about one month of bug fixing for a 0.15 release by the end of February.

I'm really struggling with GIT. I made lots of changes to master then made a branch called variableFillet, I then did a git stash and pulled master and i have lost everything.

I don't have a clue what I am doing with GIT and I can't find all the code i wrote.

Anyone one able to help?

Aren't we all? ;)

Joking aside, since I don't code I'm afraid my knowledge is rudimentary at best. But it seems like you never pushed your work to a public repo, so for experienced Git users I think it will be difficult to help without having access to it.

@dubstar-04 Ping
Checked the whole thread and couldn't find a link to your working repo. That's a shame because someone could of helped you with the git stuff. Could you upload you work to a separate git repo and perhaps we can dissect out the code you wrote?

Has anything similar to this work been added to 0.16/0.17 ?

Edit: linking issue #1801 for reference

Did you realize that this thread was two and a half years old?

Kunda1 is the king of resurrected topics! :D

AFAIK dubstar-04 has unfortunately stopped his involvement with FreeCAD. Last year he was coding a 2D CAD program for Linux.

Found it through the bugtracker :P
Yea, I realized it's an old thread but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Thanks for the heads-up about dubstar-04 history lesson. Nevertheless, issue #1801 seems like a useful and still valid request

Definitely, and if he can be contacted and persuaded to share his code, maybe the work will be salvageable.
