Printed. Did a similar quick break test, and the wheel is OK so far...
The next planned disappointment will happen at the very end of august, when I return to the city to find out the wheel doesn't fit the kick scooter (I have not measured it  )

Will post. But only if I find an interesting way to present it, since it looks exactly as the previous one, except it's not broken :P

Axial rigidity is very good. Strength... well... trying :) . Rotational rigidity: not at all.

But I wonder, is it actually important to have rotational rigidity? For kick scooter, definitely I don't care. But for something motorized, like a car, it may be. But is it? I can imagine, rotational springiness it may seriously reduce braking performance... by a factor of two, probably.

I returned to the city, and the first thing I did was installing the wheel onto the kick scooter. It fits  :o :D , I guessed the thickness!!

But the wheel turned out to be way small in diameter.

Looking at the original wheel, a stupid idea was born. Cut away the middle, and print a suspension insert!

And of course, I will try riding on that small wheel!

Well to me it looks like you came home and put what looks like a bag of groceries on the floor and went straight to installing the wheel on the kick scooter. I like that approach!

As for testing it out it does look like you will have fun over the weekend.

Test results. EPIC FAIL.
The suspension disintegrated after just 2 meters of asphalt.

But on floor, it was holding up...

The flakes flying away while you were driving the curb at high speed must have been quite a sight!

Indeed. I feel so stupid not having set up video recording of the moment.

Likely material used isn't most suitable for such task.
