Postby F_Rosa » Wed Dec 28, 2016 10:27 pm

Hello,

Here's the link to the video "Veículos urbanos elétricos modulares - Modular electric urban vehicles". A proposal for a possible open source design...

Interesting. Space efficient and capable of doing small radius turn.

Good luck!

Interesting project. Could you tell us a bit more about the FreeCAD model(s)?

The models are mainly the result of boolean operations of several sweeps (mainly derived from partial ellipsis) along other curves, applying the clones extensively!

Your FreeCAD document must be huge!

It's a very nice project. You are one of the select few who has modelled a vehicle in FreeCAD. :)

Thank you!
But this must change and soon!
FreeCAD already facilitates a good base for designing the vehicles of the future we want: open design, zero emission, funny and with freedom to change them...
