Snare drums in staves of massive wood (diverse essences)

Hello, this message was initially intended in "rockn" but it also addresses those who are interested in the drum kit (rock n roll!).
I publish it here on the advice of "Mario52".

Attached photos of two snare drums realized by craftsmen by ourselves (my son and I):
- One 14 inches of diameter, 5 deep inches, in maple,
- One 14 inches of diameter, 8 deep inches, in box tree.

The macaroon of our "mark" was drawn with FreeCad version 0.17 and manufactured with a cnc in a piece of box tree.

Next time the whole drum will first be made in FreeCAD?

P.S. Nice craftsmanship and always nice to see when two generations are working together on such project.

The moats are created in FreeCad to determine the machining dimensions as a function of the diameter of the drum and the number of staves per drum.
