Re: Designing oil sump fins

Hello,

Thanks for your suggestions!

I've made some progress today.

Now I want to make some fins on the inside like I did on the outside.

But I am not finding a way to get the constructions line of all of the inner shape. The objective is to make the inner fin a single piece that would surround all the pads.

Any suggestions ?

(The rectangle at the upper right that the 3 slots run through is a fake pocket to create a planar face onto which I could map the next sketch)

The file is too big to upload to the forum, you can get it here; just close the pop-up window first.
