According to this, 0.75 module is indeed a standard.

As Abraham wrote for 18 teeth it gives an outer diameter of 15mm.

To be honest i usually find catalogues a valuable resource of informations as big manufactures usually produce standard components. And if i compare looking for something in catalogue where the data is exact and images are added compared to "local guidelines" where the text is usually vague and refers to standards that usually can't be obtained without paying for a fee...

I checked for reference in another "hard copy" book intended for providing information for this sort of things in our country. Well it is a bit old and the standard module list only provides a portion of values (bigger module). After i looked what mentioned manufacturer has to say about it:

https://www.sdp-si.com/D805/D805_PDFS/T ... 50T017.pdf

And on T-21 page there is a table and Series 1 gears are refereed to as preferred choice. The values are consistent with my local standards therefore i would say if you want to follow standards better to stick with 0.6 or 0.8 in this range.

Hello jmaustpc,

i already spent some time getting this Macro to work with three different Versions of FC but without luck...

i think i eventually don‘t understand the instructions...

downloaded FCGear-master.zip unpacked, got folder named "FCGear-master" put it in Applications/FreeCad/Content/Mod

just get a red error message for a second when starting FC and nothing more no Gear workbench shows up

any clues !?

There was a problem using the WB with FreeCAD 0.15.xxxx, it only worked with 0.16.xxxx
A recent commit https://github.com/looooo/FCGear/commit ... 78e7cd1467 should have fixed it. Can you try the latest version of the macro and report if it is fixed for you.
