( this may be a duplicate of the post "Editing early sketches not effecting part" viewtopic.php?f=3&t=15902)
I create 4 lines and specify the length and angle between the lines, the first line in constrained with Horizontal and centred on the vertical axis, as shown in the screen shot. if I go back and try to edit the angle between lines 1 & 2, I get an constraint conflict error. If I remove the Angle constraint between lines 1&2 I can rotate lines 2,3,4 as expected.
Not sure if I'm using the wrong constraint's or if this is a possible bug.
PS: When I open the file, Report View window shows: Can't find Origin for "Body"
[edit] removing all the constraints from line 1 allows the angle to be changed.
Thanks
Sal

Re: Unable to change constrain value in PaertDesign Next sketch
Hi,
I am not sure why, but constraining the line end to a equal first construction line seams to work.

Re: Unable to change constrain value in PaertDesign Next sketch
First, the sketch has redundant constraints. Horizontal constraint on Line1 can be deleted, as the symmetry constraint already enforces horizontality.
But it didn't help. I could only change the angle in small steps, like 5 degrees at a time.
After a bit of trial and error, I found out that if I increase max number of iterations in advanced solver control to 500, the sketch is solved well for angle change for up to about 120 degrees (from 170 to 50).
Maybe something needs a tweak. I suspect angle change max step per iteration may be set too low.

Re: Unable to change constrain value in PaertDesign Next sketch
I removed the redundant constraints and changed the iteirations to 500, and it works in all the combinations I tried.
I'm recreating many of the parts I have in ver 0.16 to see how everything works, and so far I really like it. I must admit that I'm having a tough time figuring out the body feature, but I'm sure it will get easier.
Thanks for the help.
