Hi,
little problem here with 0.17.9564
When I move Body (with simple pad) into Part it generate a little "mess" in the tree, respect to older versions. Is this perhaps related to "now Body use extensions"?

Re: Move Body into Part in 0.17
Hello,
this may indeed be a side effect of some code I added in this pull request regarding dragin/droping into geofeature groups. Could you please assign a bug to me?
Thanks

Re: Move Body into Part in 0.17
Hey,
I have a similar problem.
It is a file from 0.16 but since some weeks I exclusively work with 0.17 which I update frenquently.
One of my OS :
OS: Windows 8.1
Word size of OS: 64-bit
Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit
Version: 0.17.9467 (Git)
Build type: Release
Branch: master
Hash: 40ad0b743aabad9e415b921bac9312e34735e0a8
Python version: 2.7.8
Qt version: 4.8.7
Coin version: 4.0.0a
OCC version: 7.0.0
The other one :
OS: Windows 10
Word size of OS: 64-bit
Word size of FreeCAD: 64-bit
Version: 0.17.9542 (Git)
Build type: Release
Branch: master
Hash: 96dc57c06861922b9dde830e3bcc07e43ed11cf7
Python version: 2.7.8
Qt version: 4.8.7
Coin version: 4.0.0a
OCC version: 7.0.0
I saved once the file with the second one (9542) and now the tree is a mess and not readable on the first one (9467).
However, the dependency graph is good.
So I could update the first one but I had some crash with the second. I prefer to have a more stable application.

(but I'm not able to assign the bug to somebody...it's my first report).
Thanks very much ickby for your effort in FreeCAD.

Re: Move Body into Part in 0.17
As I explained to you already, reporters (the most basic access level on the Mantis bug tracker) cannot assign bugs. They can only report them.ickby wrote:Could you please assign a bug to me?
Only managers, developers and administrators can.
Re: Move Body into Part in 0.17
With recent changes the problem has changed. See https://www.freecadweb.org/tracker/view ... 2835#c8834
