I got an error message Pad: Fusion with support failed. I was trying to pad in sketch 005 of a "built in washer" 1mm. The first time i tried, it produced a uneven 10mm, i wasn't able to adjust the height. I was able to pad a sketch 004 on same plane with no problems. I tried extruding both, and they do extrude but the lines from the sketch stay, they never go away.

Re: error message Pad: Fusion with support failed.
The problems were as well in sketch003 as sketch005. What the problem was in sketch003 I do not know, I deleted some constrains an rebuilded it and it works now. In sketch005 I deleted the reference to the edge and the inner shape, it is not necessary so I deleted it. There was also a double tangent constrain on two arcs

Re: error message Pad: Fusion with support failed.
thank you so much. I took a look at it. I see you were able to pad the sketch. However the new sketch005 doesn't look to have any reference to the part? so when you toggle the pad001 the entire part disappears and shows pad002. im going to delete pad002 & sketch005 it and try it again. here is the file with the symptom.

the picture attachment represents what im trying to accomplish. I built it backwards from the attached file im trying to solve. in the attached pic I padded the sketches then built the pockets to go through the padded sketches.
SOLVED. create new sketch of the O.D. of pad. Pad it. then sketch I.D. of pocket. then pocket.
