If you want to change colors in 3D View you must change Line/Shape Colors of your models and background color too .

But the best solution would be to have a macro which exports the picture and postprocess the image.
once configured such a filter macro it's the fastest way.

You can create a drawing (or in v0.17 a TechDraw document).

It is still hard to create a perspective drawing with non default camera settings.

You are right - of course. If arbitrary perspective matters drawings might be the wrong way.
There might be something in between, if it is only the background that matters. In the extended dialog for Tools->Save picture you can select a white background.

Thank you for the support. As suggested, I used 2d shape tool to generate drawing & exported.

How I adjust the dimension to match iso metric view? sample attached.

Hello jaisejames,

Forget Shape2DView projections. Drawing is the way to go if you need to add dimensions to your view.

Here's your example with an added Drawing page.
  1. Create a Drawing page
  2. Create your view: what's easiest is to use Image Drawing Ortho views, create a front view as base view, then create an isometric as auxiliary view. Once your views are created, delete the ortho view and only keep the isometric one.
  3. Add Image Draft Dimensions to your 3D model
  4. Project those dimensions to the page easily by selecting the dimensions, selecting the drawing view, then clicking on the Image Draft View icon.
Search Youtube for Drawing and Draft Dimensions, you'll find a few videos.

It looks like a bug to me, I was able to reproduce on Ubuntu.

Here's a workaround that requires use of another open source program:
  1. From the Drawing workbench, save your Page as SVG Image
  2. Install Inkscape
  3. Open the SVG in Inkscape
  4. Export to PDF

Thank you for your support.

I tried with libreoffice but dimension text changes it's orientation. So I skipped svg. I try with inkscape.
