Hi @ProBowlUk.

If you use FreeCAD 0.16 my recommendation would be not to do it. To much known bugs working against you if you decide to do it.

What alternatives are there :?:
 importing into INKSCAPE, LibreDRAW or LibreCAD :?

Cheers :)

Hi @ProBowlUk.

Once the drawing is finished export it to SVG. In Inkscape change the drawing template. In addition you can print it to PDF as that is how you usually share the drawing with others. If you will do it like that you will likely be able to use the SVG/PDF drawing for decades to come.

In FreeCAD 0.17 you won't have to do that anymore (including Drawing workbench not just TechDraw) as some drawing template related bugs in Drawing workbench were fixed. And TechDraw does it differently. As for the finished drawings i would still advice export to SVG and print to PDF options to be used as something considered to be future proof.
