Change step up step down.

Post by hobbyhands »

Hello,

Just started using FreeCAd yesterday. I'm unable to see an answer on the web for forum yet.

In your placement of object you can enter in x,y or z. You can also click the up and down arrows right next to where you enter in your x, y or z data. It will move the part in 1" increments. It's called a step up or step down. Anyway to change the increments to customer say .125inch or 2mm, or anything you want?

Hi hobbyhands,
Welcome to the forum.

Without screenshots or a file this is really hard to answer.
And.... Before some of the heavyweights on here (Who i'm certain will know instantly) even look to give you and answer
they will want to know. Version number, operating system, libaries etc etc.

See the 'IMPORTANT: Please click here and read this first, before asking for help"
at the top of this very page. It'll show you how to get everything thats needed.

Paul.

So see the arrows. If I click up or won it moves the object in increments of 1inch(25.4mm). I want to be able to adjust how much the object will move per click. I hope you can see the image in the link?
