Hi All,
I've got an open box created by first applying fillets to a cube and then using the (really useful!) part->thickness tool. Now I want to split this open box into two halves but with a 'lip' profile between them so that they can be cleanly brought together again. The attached picture shows the desired lip profile drawn on one of the edges. That has to follow the profile of the box walls.
I can see how this might be done with a sequence of boolean cuts, but can this be done in a simpler way? Can, for example, the sweep tool be used to follow the wall all the way round? Also I believe there's a split tool coming in V0.17 but unsure what that can do.
Thanks,
Mark.
