Using Freecad with Luxrender MacOSX Elcapitan

Post by Macuser »

Just installed LuxRender I am having difficulty selecting the path executable in the raytracing preferences my Mac OS X El Capitan I have set the path to the Luxrender.app it does not recognise or respond .

I can render a file directly through the app but it would be nice to use the feature of Freecad can any one help with this annoying issue
Thanks

Hi,
As may OS X App, the binary executable file is not the .app
Right click on luxrender within the finder
"show package content " (not sure as my system is in French, that's the second line)
go here :

Code: Select all

/Applications/LuxRender/LuxRender.app/Contents/MacOS/luxconsole
that's the path to the right file
