Hi all,

In the Arch workbench, drawing closed polyline shapes in the standard XY plane, then clicking the Arch Structure button, selected shapes are extruded in different directions. So, is there a way to control the Z axis extrusion direction within the GUI?

Regards,

@Willem: thank you for your answer. A quick test after selecting the working plane from Auto to Top doesn't solve the problem. I'm still unable to predict and control the Arch Structure Z axis extrusion direction.

Use the Normal property of the arch object. If you leave it to (0,0,0), the extrusion direction is automatic and can indeed be wrong sometimes. But you can manually set it to, for example, (0,0,1)
