Flashing Images?

Post by Darktrax »

I am a complete newbie - and I have been trying out the Engine Block tutorial.
While entering a BSpline, while zoomed in, the whole screen rapidly flashes yellow as the cursor passes various bits of the drawing.

I am not actually prone to epilepsy, though I understand flashing of this sort can stimulate disturbing reactions in anyone.
For me, it was more of an annoyance, but I do ask if there is some way to temporarily turn off or limit this pre-selection highlighting while trying to work on 2D Draft curves.

Thanks

Greetings Darktrax, I think what you're describing is caused by the highlighting of preselected objects. To change this, navigate to Edit > Preferences > Display (icon in left pane) > Colors (tab at top) and in the "selection" area of the window:
  • uncheck "Enable preselection hilighting", or
  • change the color from the default yellow to something else.
But, these changes aren't really temporary overrides; they remain until you change them again.
