need some basic modeling info please

Sheet Metal WB is free and has to be installed separately: http://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/index.ph ... heet_Metal.
You can change sketcher's colors in the preferences->display->sketcher. If you haven't done so, I wonder why your dimensions appear in white and not in red. Could you please attach your FreeCAD info as described in the top of this forum, red background, hard to miss.
