OpenSUSE Xfce unresolvable dependencies

Yo! Just had an interesting experience with YAST update:

You need vtk=6.3.0 for FreeCAD-0.16.99+git20170127.2314-1.1x86_64 but the demand can not be fulfilled.

You can downgrade vtk-7.0.0-69.4.x86_64 to vtk-6.3.0-1.7.x86_64

You can break FreeCAD-0.16.99+git20170127.2314-1.1.x86_64 by ignoring some dependencies.

If I would go on with the installation the following will happen:

NETGEN downgrade from 6.0.99+git20161220.1206-5.1-x86_64 to 5.3.1-1.1-x86_64.
OCE downgrade from 0.17.199+git20170104.0745-1.3.x86_64 to 0.17.2-16.1-x86_64.

Any one (jobermayr?) know what to do? Should I do something? Or should I just bide my time?

After I saw a few bug reports here about issues with FreeCAD and an incompatible VTK package I decided with last snapshot to force the VTK package FreeCAD got built against:

This way zypper should tell user errors when mixing repositories/packages.

To make FreeCAD fully functional/supported you must downgrade the packages. Otherwise you are on your own if you experience errors ...

OK, got it !
It's up n'running now.
Oddly enough, I now can open up the illusive FEM 2D & 3D from start page... not that it matter any more, ... but I got me wonder why it didn't work before?
Oh well, now it's kebab time! Heard it's good for ye cholesterol !!!
