I installed FreeCAD and CadQuery on my Mac (running Sierra). FreeCAD seems to start up OK, but when I try to open the CadQuery workspace I get the following error:
[Errno 34] Result too large: '/private/var/folders/dl/rb4lzdf17cj054mgt8m8mt640000gn/T/AppTranslocation/7BFC2DFB-3B59-495C-8F67-8D7855B92E2E/d'
Thoughts?

Re: CadQuery workspace on Mac not working
Hi gbcrockett,
CadQuery isn't really a FreeCAD project, so while you might get some help if someone here uses it, you'll probably have better luck at a CadQuery specific forum.
My understanding (never having used it) is that CadQuery is essentially just using FreeCAD as a way to get at OpenCascade via Python. So, you might start by making sure that you're using the correct Python interpreter/libraries for CadQuery and FreeCAD both. It's easy to get tangled up with the wrong Python doing this type thing on MacOS. -Ian-
Edit: Sorry I didn't think of this earlier - depending on how CadQuery hooks in to FreeCAD, you might be experiencing the same issue as issue #2906. I'm looking in to that one now, so perhaps if we get it fixed then your issue will also be fixed.

Re: CadQuery workspace on Mac not working
I'm one of the CadQuery developers. @gbcrockett found us and this problem is resolved: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic ... 1Ze9iTQ7_k
There's a CadQuery Google Group for anyone looking for help in the future: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/cadquery
