Feature Request on Draft-->Array

Post by hhassey »

While creating boxes I can conviniently type for length, width and height any unit like mm or in, ft etc, in the Array Data where the interval is defined, It will only taka a number and interpret it as mm. I can not type letters for in or anything else.

Also I think length width and height should be named x,y,z.

Thanks!

Indeed that is because currently the vector property editor doesn't support units. This should be fixed at some point... issue #2192

I would appreciate it very much if length,width, height would be named x,y,z. If I make a new part I always try changing one side to some bigger value so I can see what happens. However, it might be a problem if the cube is turned.

x, y and z are used for the placement position already... It wouldn't be wise to use that same names twice IMHO
