Just stumbled upon this: http://cad-software.findthebest.com/l/17/FreeCAD

The information on the page is entered by visitors. I edited the "Company" info which was set to Crowdin  and updated the website URL. Thus I had to register and will probably get spammed by them from now on.

You don't know yopmail ? When you don't trust a website, just subscribe with a mail like something@yopmail.com, the mailbox is created on the fly. Look I just create à freecad@yopmail.com go to yopmail.com, type freecad and see the registration to the website you are spoken. ;)

I just left a little review there. Didn't seem right that the only review was a complaint about undo/redo and then claiming FreeCAD was unusable.

I just had a look; as of this posting the Compatibility and Pricing subsection of the Overview section the still reads:
"FreeCAD is manufactured by Crowdin"

Under that, the Project Website and link is listed as:
"free-cad.sourceforge.net"

I wonder if someone edited it after Norm...

No, I forgot to mention that it needs to be reviewed by some people...

Just checked some comparisons between FreeCAD vs other programs in findthebest.com, it mentions that FreeCAD cannot write STEP files (as far as I can remember we can export and import such file type), and it keeps listing the creator as Crowdin. And just hated the low rating, so I had to make my own review as well.

drei,

As I wrote previously, I tried to edit the FreeCAD page, but my edits were denied by the idiots as not legit.

Not sure if it was already noted, nor if these statistics are worth anything, but this site http://www.shouldiremoveit.com/freecad- ... ogram.aspx reports 97% of satisfied users and 'excellent' as overall sentiment... :)

Its not really about being "on the web", but it seems that there is a live System aimed at 3D design and printing which includes FreeCAD:
