Feature request: Larger Area of influence at Cursor

My feature request is a Larger Area of influence at Cursor.

I have had a little trouble selecting edges, I have also noticed in a lot of tutorials I have looked at that the tutors also have a little trouble selecting edges as well.
My request is an option to have a small box or circle which we could change the size of in the preferences appear at the point of the cursor when we get near an edge, the idea being as soon as the circle or square touches an edge it becomes highlighted and we can then click the mouse and the edge becomes selected. Saves trying to hit the edge exactly before it can be clicked on.

In the mean time, try zooming in on the edge a bit. Zoom is your friend here.

+1. Inside edges are more difficult than outside edges.

Have you used another CAD program that works the way you've described?

Does not function in sketcher, and there are lots of other places to fix (e.g., setting rotation center in nav styles).

@Quick61, I have been using the zoom when it becomes too difficult to select the edge I want, I thought this would speed up the workflow by not having to zoom all the time then zooming out when done.

@Bejante, I have Varicad, and when you select an action the cursor changes to a small cross and as soon as it touches an edge the edge becomes live and can be selected. I am sure I have used a programme but I cannot remember which one where there is a square at the cursor that does what I am referring to.

But it was just a request.

Now works in sketcher, except for constraint symbols. These don't seem to respect the setting, and I'm afraid I won't be able to fix that...
