Looking good.

P.S. Said that i guess the pressure is rising a bit to finally provide great FreeCAD module installer. At least before we get to 100+ installable modules goal. ;)

This is amazing ! If we could combine this with the Arch axis we could do FEM right away.

The workbench (called flamingo) is now in the freecad addons and can be installed with the addon-installer macro.

That might work already... There is a tool to align a beam on an edge, and arch axes are edges. I'll try

Autodesk's blog http://blogs.autodesk.com/bim-and-beam/ has quite good posts on what is going on in the Revit/Autodesk world of structural design

I think the most interesting feature of BIM is that you can do all kinds of funny name jokes with it, Bim bam bom, BIM Beam, etc...

Very interesting matter!
About concrete, when I've posted structure elements on the library, It would be a good Idea include the steel bars in the blocks...
