Can confirm that it is working on Ubuntu 16.04.1 in Firefox 50.1.0 but only without flash-plugin.
Chromium (Version 55.0.2883.87) does also not work... it says 'Plugin is not supported'.
The interesting thing is that the external linked video of Chris_G does work???

This might be because I made the new "Media" category a subgroup of "Flash files"... I now made it a subgroup of "Windows Media files"...
Hmm... doesn't work any better...

Was the upload of .webm disabled again? It does not work any more. There was an update of the forum some time ago, maybe the settings were reset!?

@kkremitzki could you please have a look.
Thanks in advance,
Howil
Ps: an upgrade of the .webm file limit from 1Mb to 5Mb would be extremely useful 8-)

Yeah, it looks like webm was indeed disabled. I re-enabled it and set the upload limit for that extension specifically up to 5MiB

5MiB? I hope the forum has more storage space than it used to have when I was an admin. It will fill up pretty quick...

The 5Mb limit is only for the webm extension... There shouldn't be that many

On the topic, there's also 150MiB of orphaned attachments I noticed while in the admin panel, i.e. people started a reply and attached something but never posted the reply or deleted the attachment. So cleaning those out would sponsor quite a few webm's :D
