It seems that good alternatives have been proposed. Should we make a vote? or, Should we let the main contributor(s), in charge of the design, decides? We could find an other way to make a decision. Or we could just let this creativity die in the archive of this forum?
Hi @Mika38.
When it comes to the FreeCAD logo design challenge look at is as crème de la crème of FreeCAD design effort. Established FreeCAD designers annual meeting and people that never contributed any design related contribution to FreeCAD giving it a shot. It's a process. And i am sure it has positive effect on FreeCAD design efforts regardless of the fact if any changes to the logo are introduced each year or not. New ideas can be tried out and that can result in evolution or at least in understanding that something won’t work.
It was just some playing. In my opinion the old logo needs only some marginal polish.
There was no fork or whatsoever demanding for a radicaly new logo. The aligned_logo is the first step towards that *).

*) I do not like the old 'F' and do not like the 'new' aligned one . The old F had a to high 'head' while the new is much larger (and slimmer) than the gear wheel
I love it. A good proposition in the right direction. Could you share the CAD file? This file will be a great material for a tutoriel or a presentation.
Would it be possible to have an interaction between the two parts?
