I am more used to POV-Ray and Kerkythea. There you have based on your settings a definite computing time and then a window pops
up (eventually a sound as well) telling you that the computing is finished.
Without some sort of progress indicator it is very hard to tell what is finished or not.
We are thinking about that :). The tricky part is to define what level of noise is acceptable for a given scene.
r-frank wrote: BTW: I wish we could have better control over the picture size (maybe some "fixed" templates ? In Kerkythea i am used to work with three different resolutions (1024x768 for a quick look and a first control about the settings / 1600x900 for presentation and 1920x1080 for wallpaper or similar use ...)
You already have full control over the rendering resolution (no templates, though). Just uncheck "Fit to window" and "Keep aspect" flags in resolution settings and set desired viewport resolution. Use CTRL+Click on a slider to type a precise value.
r-frank wrote: One more thing: Maybe a pop-up-window upon closing saying "Are you sure ? Wanna save your file first ?" would be great in case of accidentially
closing instead of minimizing the program ...
Will be added to the next version.

Sorry, it is not supported right now. Anisotropic effects like these require some built-in UV parametrization tools to be configurable and useful.

Maybe you need a special feature, go into Macros_recipes and Code_snippets, Topological_data_scripting.

I'm trying to download the link below CADRays, the Microsoft C++ 2015 Redistributable. The link doesn't seem to work, has anyone else had issues with this recently?

It appears the link on the CADRays page is no longer correct. That is just an ordinary MS file, and you can get it directly from MS.

Code: Select all
