Thanks for checking out my timeline, I hope you found it helpful... I definitely made sure to add FreeCad, and several of the other open source codes, including OpenCascade (located under "CapGemeni") and OpenFoam (located under ESI). Now there are few versions of OpenFoam, at least three major version as far as I remember. Old, good one (FOSS), new by ESI (free and open, but commercial), extended-project (FOSS).
