Call for screenshots

Post by yorik »

I'm thinking we should revamp a bit the homepage at http://www.freecadweb.org and the screenshots section at http://www.freecadweb.org/wiki/index.ph ... creenshots with newer and cooler screenshots. If you want to give a hand, please post here! Preferably at least 1024px wide, please!

I have a few things that might be useful, not as masterpieces, but they show what FreeCAD can do

This is just a test loft made with curves imported from inkscape. it's not super interesting, but it shows off FreeCAD's abilty to create free forms

This a python scritpted object that i 3d printed for a friend. once again, the design is not that interesting, but it shows FreeCAD's capabilites for construction and visualisation

Caption:

With the power of Python and easy to customize FreeCAD toolbars, exporting your design to external applications such as 3D Printing Software can be as easy as a single mouse click. Macro used in this screen capture.

Something in this genre fit the bill?

Hi Yorik
I thought this one was visually appealing. :)
