Many Thanks to the great developper Team !

Post by laurent_parti »

Hi all,

I'm not sure this is the good place to post but I try anyway  .

I use FreeCAD since a while and follow the developpers hard work quite on a daily basis. Each time I had a concern with the soft, I was greatly help by the team. I do really appreciate all those efforts. The soft is better & better. I not able to program but I want to bring my stone and thanks all the developpers:

I share information on my channel for machinist community and I could not resist :D to make a short and hot recommandation for FreeCAD on my channel on which I have 570+ subscribers and 112 000 + views.

It is my way to thanks all of developper and the great FreeCAD Team ;) .

Hello Laurent,

I was not sure myself either. You do show a very cool machine design in your video, but you do not mention it in this topic; so I finally moved your topic to the "Open discussion" forum, but I left a "ghost topic" in the original place (in phpBB lingo this is a link).

BTW this is another quite eloquent demonstration that even without the "Assembly module" yet being in FreeCAD, you can do assemblies! :)

Thanks for being a FreeCAD ambassador! :ugeek:

P.S. Just so you know, as far as I know only the French people use the "soft" diminutive for software. I believe English-speaking people use "app", but it may be used specifically for apps on a smart phone... ;)

Hi mario52,
Interesting macro, with good documentation!
One question that I have:
Is your license for that macro GPLv3? You might want to change it to LGPLv2 or BSD to be compatible with FreeCAD's license, just in case your macro gets included in the FreeCAD base install someday.

Hi Mario, a CNC postprocessor inside FreeCAD will be really cool
