Hi All,

I also use SimpleScreenRecorder and it is simple but very powerfull.

To fine tune my videos I use Kdenlive, easy, very powerfull.

Both softs support 1080 HD format.

Yes, and some of the software above is Windows only.

To display keystrokes I'd like to try Screenkey; if there was a Windows version I would probably have used it instead of osdHotkey. But now I think Blender has the best Keystroke / Mouse Click display; it would be nice to have that in FreeCAD too.
I've used both Kazam and RecordMyDesktop for screen captures, but for me the way to select a recording area in RecordMyDesktop is unintuitive.
I have OpenShot for video editing but haven't used it much yet.

That's a good idea, it could help shorten the learning curve for creating video tutorials.
