Hello.
Since we have no Sub-Forum about the forum and its usage I thought
the best place for this would be in "open discussion".
I tried my luck with the forum search several times and nearly
all my attempts ended up with "... ignored because they are too
common words".
Now I am using google to search the forum/homepage.
For example to search for "dwg import" within the forum I would enter
"dwg import site:http://forum.freecadweb.org" on google.
To do this search on the homepage and the forum I would enter
"dwg import site:http://freecadweb.org" on google.
At least this turns up results.
Maybe the search mask could be redirected to use google and
add the site-tag ?

Re: Search in forums not usable ...
There were discussions about this a while back when the forum first moved, to place another search option in the forum to use a Google search. There was talk about doing it, but I think other things took over center stage and it fell off into the shadows. Yes, it would be a nice feature to add.
