Hello. I am designing a tubular chassis buggy type. Upload images and file model. I drew using sketcher, draft and part (sweep).
It would be great in the future take a module FreeCAD welded structural parts.

Incredible work, always pushing the boundaries with FreeCAD!

It was also a great test case for the Render Module, fixed a crash from it. Need to spend some time making some materials for people to use.

Thanks NORMAD, I need a seat for the pilot and almost finished.
Mrlukeparry'm eager to try your module render, for now I made one in blenderviewtopic.php?f=14&t=3035

The arrival of the render module with 0.14 will be an awesome addition. If we can bump the QT version up to 4.7 for FreeCAD I might investigate making a QML Splashscreen

Even still I really like the 0.13 splashscreen!

Buggy progress of my project.

Hello. As share some pictures of my project progresses to a buggy. In this case all create in the same file (do not export and import in other formats) to see how it behaves FreeCAD with many operations inside the same file.
Much remains to be done (brakes, shocks, complete the front axle, etc.) Thanks again to those who develop this software. Soon I'll upload also a list of problems I had, and also some tips.

P / D: Everything is drawn in FreeCAD, unless the seat is imported from an online library (I do the same thing with the engine)

Hope you like.

Nice!

I think in the future "splash screen" contest is in place. Or maybe when basic assembly support will come to FreeCAD joint effort and of course nice render of the assembly is not so far ahead.

Hi, I share the buggy model. Missing several details but I think it was quite good. Perhaps be wanting better tires, improved sheet. The cushions and seat are imported from elsewhere. Hope you like. I also share a render done with Blender ..

Hope you like.

Great work psicofil! What software did you use for the render (first picture)?

It's a definite banner candidate for the new upcoming FreeCAD website! :ugeek:
