I agree that fixing PathStock is the right approach here. The spin boxes have a min/max value which can be set - with a bit of luck adjust those is the only thing required.

As discussed on the thread about vertical facing ops, using extend model bounds option will only allow extending the "stock" of the boundary. Although the UI has its own copy of the job stock setup dlg, it is also using code from PathStock.py , thus it inherits the same restriction that the boundin...

It would be very comfortable is the Bondary stock could be moved with the Transform tool known from Part objects or Bodies. I guess that in most cases it is not extremely important to have have the exact position. The examples I have seen here lately support that guess. What happened to editing the...

You could use the Boundary dressup to exclude the area of the clamps - make sure you set your Heights correctly to clear the clamps.

Absolutely, double click on the operation and once the editor shows up in the task panel navigate to the "Base Geometry" tab. You can add/remove features according to the op's selection filter.
