Checking out a PR - handy setup

I'm sure most of you guys already know how to check out a PR. So far I did it manually and most of the time I had to look up the exact syntax again - nevermore, this approach makes it really simple and I thought it's worth sharing: https://gist.github.com/piscisaureus/3342247 Apologies for the noise...

Re: [RFC] FreeCAD commit history formatting ideas

I think this is good for PRs but too much overhead for commit messages. I can't come up with any value/use for it neither. On the PR it let's the respective committer know "this is for you, buddy", but on a single commit?

Re: No module named 'PathScripts.PathToolControllerGui'

I'm not sure where the error happens but Path doesn't use fill() at all - there might be something else going wrong.

Python custom widgets and PySideUic.loadUi example?

I tried to implement a custom widget in python and use it in designer with the "Promote" feature. According to the docs/internet I should put the module name where the widget is implemented into the "header file" field. However - I cannot get that to work and loadUi always throws an error of "unknow...

This is most likely fixed by PR-2250 unfortunately I don't have a Windows to verify.

Re: no pocket path is diam=tool diam bug #0004011

A 6mm cylinder is a profile. It trivial to achieve with a 6mm tool ! I think what you are saying is expressing the ( I would say false ) assumption behind the coding error. This is exactly what I felt was happening from the behavious. Bad phrasing on my part - there's only a Profile (as in Path.Pro...

Re: drilling order, what the peck .

Up until 3 month ago features were processed in order they were added to an op - however commit 423830ba8c5ece01055334e50be703dcf13c79a4 explicitly added a sorting step to sort all features according to their position.

This should not affect Drilling though.
