If there is nothing secret in your designs, how about having them modeled by FC community and donating to FC project ?
Hi all,
I really like this idea!
Let me think about all the possibilities and speak with my team about this, later this week.

Best,
Damian

Paid work - mechanical components

Dear FreeCAD Experts, I'm really fascinated about this software, but somehow I'm running out of time for my all engineering projects. I hope there someone in the group working as a freelancer using FreeCAD? I'm looking for an experienced designer, typical projects are as shown in the attached screen...

CfdOF download numbers / active users ?

Dear all, I'm working daily on CFD with different Software and specialize in 3D preparation and meshing. For the model preparation, I'm often using FreeCAD and planning to do the first steps with the CfdOF Workbench, I like this idea and really appreciate your work on this project! Currently, I'm al...

Re: Save a STL file with multi-regions

I just came across this topic, and would like to contribute my own thoughts on the matter. One other possibility is to export all the single regions to separate files and merge it outside of FreeCAD by using the 'cat' command in terminal (when using Linux) or the 'type' command (when using Windows)....

Re: My GUI has suddenly slowed down to a very slow crawl

Short update:
It seems to be a windows or gpu drivers problem, because also 'Meshlab', 'Scilab' and some commercial tools don't work with WIndows 7 64 Bit using Windows Classic Theme as well !

Re: My GUI has suddenly slowed down to a very slow crawl

Hi guys, I have a similar problem on my Windows machine. After switching to the 'Windows Classic Theme' following behavior can be observed: (1) FreeCAD reports: 'Unhandled unknown exception caught in GUIApplication::notify.' (2) I am able to open a file, but can not see anything on the worksheet. (3...

Re: ASCII stl selection when exporting

Hi, (1) I don't really now if this the best practice, but it works for me: At daily work with FreeCAD, working on preprocessing for CFD tasks a lot of different files are being exported, all the files needs to be in ASCII format in order to be editable later. At first I export the files as AST (.ast...

Export edge to OBJ, VTK, NAS file format // cfd meshing

Hi there, I am new to the forum and looking forward to learn a lot from you guys and share my knowledge with others.. I've been using FreeCAD for years now inside a big company and for small hobby projects as well, it's a great tool ! The main purpose currently is to handle some preprocessing for CF...
