Hi Oliver,
It might be linked to my previous problem, I tried to mesh a simple cylinder, however I had an error with both gmesh and cfmesh I linked in the files. What is this "compression"??
Thank you very much
Should be resolved.

Re: Problem installing cfmesh

Hi Oliver! Thank you for your answer, I re-runned ./Allwmake and here is the output : 2019-10-14 13:17:55 +0200 ======================================== Finished compile of cfMesh with OpenFOAM-v1906 Gcc system compiler linux64GccDPInt32Opt, with SYSTEMOPENMPI openmpi-system wmake doc skip wmake ta...

Re: Problem installing cfmesh

Is there a solution?? Really not sure what the problem could be. Can you confirm that your openfoam compilation completed without error. Re-run ./Allwmake from your OpenFOAM directory and ensure that no error messages appear. What output do you get if you run an openfoam command like snappyHe...

Re: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) workbench using OpenFOAM

So similar results but my observation is that the Properties panel only includes model components and not velocity, pressure etc. properties. And no orientation array options. 10-10-19 PV 5.7.0 Properties Glyph.PNG I must also repeat that only PV 5.7.0 allows me to open a file to edit without launc...

Re: Porous Baffle BC Ignoring Wire Screen Parameters

Hi All, It looks like CfdOF is ignoring the Wire Screen Parameters in the Porous Baffle BC. No matter what I put in for the wire screen parameters, I get the same results. Looking in the 0 folder in the p file, the Boundary Condition values don't change for different values of Wire Diameter and Spa...

Re: AttributeError while running solver

After that I followed a tutorial on how to set up a simple simulation but when I try to start the solver i get this error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/username/.FreeCAD/Mod/CfdOF/_TaskPanelCfdSolverControl.py", line 152, in runSolverProcess cmd = self.solver_runner.get_solver_cmd...

Re: Run Solver does not execute

Writing mesh case and running mesher is fine. Writing the analysis case is fine. However, when I click Solver > Run, the following errors are returned in the Report View Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\dlaban\AppData\Roaming\FreeCAD\Mod\CfdOF\_TaskPanelCfdSolverControl.py", line 1...

Re: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) workbench using OpenFOAM

Hi Oliver, Great progress but I need to gather a better understanding, after a lot of help from you. I have had great results but only if I follow my previous expectation that I had to use absolute pressures. This is from my current attached model that was fully built in 0.18 and now your revised C...

Re: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) workbench using OpenFOAM

Hi Oliver, First of all THANK YOU!! Wonderful job and massive success for me. Not only have your changes solved the running problems but the model runs even better that before in FC 0.17. The residuals are greater than 1000 time lower than previous 0.17 runs. So impressed and love your open source ...
