I still experience extremely long times when using Move tool, I guess it recalculates all assembly solution after any move/rotation even when auto recalc is off (is it?).
There are a few performance related improvements thanks to ceremcem's report. I will try my best to make a release this month.

Re: Assembly3 preview

Could we somehow help on this? One way is to serve as a rubberduck (as http://rubberduckdebugging.com suggests) at least. IMO, the solution will shine once you (could?) explained the problem to me (us). (In other words, I won't do anything other than listening :) ) Haha, there is actually a website...

Re: Assembly3 preview

Thank you for your advice. I set up an account, created an issue in Realthunders Assembly3 project and hopefully, here is a valid link: https://github.com/realthunder/FreeCAD_assembly3/files/2568800/ZahrDom.zip Thanks for reporting. There are two problems. The Part simple copy bug has already been ...

I think the move tools is the core issue for me..
Can you attach a file showing the problem? I can't reproduce it with the last released AppImage.

Re: Assembly3 preview

Can make screencast later today. Please also attach a sample file if possible Are these body inside a subassembly? The default behavior of asm3 mover is to move part in the context of the top level assembly. If the body3 is inside a subassembly, you can select the body3 as usual, and then ctrl sele...

Re: Assembly3 preview

When i use move tool to move an item inside the assembly, the entire assembly object will move on recompute, is there any way to "lock" the assembly object? I am not sure I get what you want. Can you please show a screencast If a Part is locked (with 'Lock' constraint), the entire assembly will mov...

Re: FC0.17 recompute strange behaviour (regression)

If it's too much work to implement an appropriate mustExecute() for every single feature class one work-around is to implement a base class where the implementation of mustExecute() can also check for the "touched" flag. That's actually what I meant, to have a base mustExecute() return 1 if touch f...

Re: Path WB only sees part of object

I am not sure I understand the connection between a colour change on recompute and the fact that PathArea generates a g-code that cuts off entire arcs (recompute or not). Also, 3507 has been open for several months. I took a second look, and you are right. They are indeed unrelated. Oops! Anyway, I...

Re: Path WB only sees part of object

I think the problem is related to a recent commit. See the discussion and my response here.
